Each session is custom designed with your wellness and goals in mind. Spiraling Fitness is a fully equipped private studio, offering private lessons on our GYROTONIC® equipment, as well GYROKINESIS® group classes. This variety allows us to customize workouts to meet your personal needs, and to help you achieve your fitness, health and wellness goals.
The GYROTONIC® Method
Gyrotonic exercise is a unique fitness discipline that offers similar benefits as derived from yoga, tai chi, swimming, and dance. Developed by Juliu Horvath, the Gyrotonic method utlitizes circular, flowing movements, which blend together rhythmically. These exercises allow each movement to flow into the next, allowing the joints, muscles and limbs to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. Gyrotonic exercises use three-dimensional, circular movement, simultaneously stretching and strengthening the muscles and muscle attachments.
The GYROKINESIS® Method
The Gyrokinesis method is a series of gentle movements that work the entire body. While performing Gyrokinesis exercises, you will experience the opening of energetic pathways, an increase in your range of motion, and greater strength through the rhythmic, flowing movements Developed after an injury, Juliu Horvath was inspired by his experiences with yoga, tai chi, gymnastics, swimming and dance to create these unique movement principles.
